What are your opinions of XMI ties? Thank you.

I own one XMI tie that is OK, but nothing special. Perhaps those who own XMI Platinum ties can comment on the higher quality line.

I have one that has a nice woven pattern, but the construction is average. I will say, though, that it gives the most pronounced dimple of any tie I have. I've heard the Platinums are better.

Every men's boutique I've ever been in carries XMI and I can't for the life of me figure out why. Even Parisian's store brand "Preswick and Moore" is a better constructed tie in my opinion.

I'd have to disagree. Stick with XMI Platinum. Heavy, woven patterns - not printed. Similar to some Hickey Freeman ties in weight. Pick one up on ebay or about $15-$20 new.

I have one XMI Platinum tie that I got for xmas last year. I would say there are much better ties to be had in that price range. Not a bad tie by any means just not as well constructed as some others.
