Storing your Ties - Any recs?

I've been storing my ties on a hanger for quite some time. The hanger has a 1/2 inch dowel, so I havent really seen any damage or creasing. One of my older ties is starting to look a bit puckered...

Any recommendations from the Forum? Do you store your ties in a drawer or on a tie rack? Any innovative ideas?

Thanks!

I'm afraid I just use those 20 and 30 slot tie racks available from many department stores. They're a bit of a nuisance though - hard to see every tie easily and they take up a fair bit of hanger space; if I had more room, I'd get a drawer with individual spaces for each tie to be rolled up and placed in (I presume leaving them rolled wouldn't cause any problems provided the roll wasn't too tight?)

I roll mine and have no problems with them. Just fold them once, then roll them around 2 fingers, but not tight. I store them with the bottom, point facing up. This takes up a fair amount of room, though, about 4-6 inches in length, I think. If you have lots of ties but not that many drawers, I suppose you could stack them with no problem, but others might have a different take on that (I haven't gotten to stacking volume yet, but I'm new to the forum and have been checking out the high-end tie websites on a recent post).
