Really stupid question about sharkskin

I wish that I had the figure to pull off a suit like that. Alas, that cut would look dreadful on my frame. Anyway, to echo others, you can wear that suit all year if you choose. To me, it would be more of a 3-season suit. However, I am just picky that way.
So when you say 3 season you mean except summer?

People use the term to mean either "except summer" or "except winter." For that one, I'd like "except winter," since it's a light color.

As noted above, perfect 3 season (not winter) suit. IMHO, it's a wonderful wardrobe basic as it is a medium gray suit which leaves you so many options for shirts, ties, etc., but being shark skin, it brings just a little something special to the table (which one only notices subtly). And I don't see anything age-specific about shark skin.

So I saw this suit in the store today and actually ending up buying it. In places with definitive seasons I would definitely agree that it's more of a spring, summer, and fall suit. Here in Charlotte, where winter is normally mild and fleeting, I may try to stretch that a bit.

Bear in the mind that this suit does have a bit of a pattern beyond just the traditional sharkskin pattern. It really is nice though and from 10 feet away it just looks like a medium grey suit.
