I'm looking for a crewneck sweater in shetland or shaggy-dog style. Would like it in deep pink — does anyone make these? I checked Andover and Press, but no pink, in addition to other places like Orvis, O'Connells, Brooks, Land's End and Jos Bank. Anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know what a "shaggy dog" style of jumper is but Pakeman Catto and Carter are selling a pink fisherman's rib lambswool sweater on their site. I have bought one and think it is fantastic quality and fit.

Suggest you contact Murrays Toggery for either pink or faded Nantucket red shetland crewneck or J. Press New Haven for pink cableknit shetland.. As of two weeks ago both had them in inventory. Good luck with your search.

As untitled mentioned, Spirit of Shetland will make a shetland in any of their several shades of pink, to your exact measurements. Ironically, they are making a pink one for me right now, I will post pics when it arrives.

I have several of their lambswools in the lovat shade, and like them a lot. I know it's not a Shetland, but perhaps their "old rose" shade may be close to the deep pink you're looking for.

I have this sweater and like it very much -- it's the perfect thing for that winter/spring transitional time.

I myself wouldn't wear it in the fall, though I have considered adding one in the somewhat subtler shade that Andover used to call "Nantucket Red" and now seems to be called "Salmon".
