Just out of curiosity, what's your personal view of using peak lapels on tweed suits for non-sporting uses. In general, I prefer peak lapels on all my coats, but knowing the use of tweeds, and the general history associated with peak lapels, they logically don't seem to go together (which may amount the paired use to be a faux pas). That said, I oddly think most tweeds aesthetically look great with +3.25in. lapels.
