Pants to wear with your jersey???

Hey everyone...Kind of a silly question...but...what does everyone wear to a superbowl party??? Usually, if i dont care about who is playing I'll just wear whatever...but as a native Californian, I'm pulling for the Chargers...anywho...last time a CA team (Da-Raydahz) was in the Superbowl, I wore a jersey, I was telling a lady-friend of mine about this the other day, and she couldnt believe it...so I told her that if SD makes it, I'll wear an LT jersey (authentic game-day apparel of course) to the Superbowl party...now, my question is...are jeans the only acceptable pants to wear with a football jersey? the only time I wore my Jerry Rice Raiders jersey I paired it with black jeans (it was an "away" jersey)...but sence then I've given up on wearing jeans...I was thinking about trying to get away with a powder blue SD throwback

(I would have had this one made, but they take a couple of weeks, and I dont want to risk not having it)

with a pair of olive or khaki cargo pants...but I'm not entirely convinced...perhaps I should finally go and get myself that pair of Evisu jeans that I've been debating purchasing for around a year now...

I realise that such a getup may not be considered "classy" or some AAAC members "wouldnt be caught dead..." or whatever :rolleyes:...but the Superbowl comes but once a year...and it'd be exceptionally cool to see the Chargers there...

That's an interesting idea...I've pictured something like this in my mind before...but I never thought that such an animal actually existed...I'd imagine it would either be really fun, or the most boring superbowl party ever...

The party I'm going to is deffinately alot more casual, I mean, wearing a team Polo with Chinos would be considered dressed up...BTW...that's what I usually wear to a superbowl party...I'll probably go with a pair of black jeans...although I was just looking at the picture and wondering how white chinos might look with it...

Actually the idea of a pair of dress slacks, dress shirt and tie with the jersey over it seems very interesting.

I think if I attend a superbowl party it will be to tailgate in the stadium parking lot. Not that I have a ticket but that seems like a reasonable place to hold a superbowl party.

Last weekend we had all these people in bright Robins Egg Blue and bright orange golf wear coming by the house all day (I live on a golf course). The weekend before it was burgundy and white golf wear from the Oklahoma fans.

I suppose Super Bowl it will be Chargers fans and Saints fans. Of course, I am not certain Saints fans play golf. I think they mostly play the trumpet and throw beads and drink beer.

This has been a busy month in the Valley of the Sun. In between football games, we have Barrett Jackson Auto Auction and the FBR Open. Soon thereafter Spring Training starts.

GG, Hopefully your Chargers will in fact prevail and make it to the big game.
