Going to a wedding Saturday, in NJ, I have a very nice khaki suit, was wondering if it would appear out of place and style. Thanks in advance.

Khaki is a color. Is it poplin or wool? A tan wool gabardine/twill, etc., would be fine right through the winter. A tan cotton poplin needs to go away about the same time as the whites and seersuckers... it's a summer suit.

Er . . .

To answer the question, it is a cotton poplin suit. I don't get to wear it much as I thought it was only for spring/summer, but good to know it's okay to wear it after that.
. . . I wouldn't. Not in New York. Not here in Los Angeles, unless we were having a santana wind. An outdoor wedding in the summer, fine. Indoors, especially inside a church, a dark suit is the way to go. I'm a bit stuffy, I guess:rolleyes:
