I own cotton Nantucket reds and cords in many assorted colours including red. When I am in the English countryside, my cords are standard daily uniform. They look great, wear well, and can be picked up for a reasonable price. Bocklehurst of Bakewell is my preferred maker.

Some commentators seem naturally inclined to spoil others sartorial fun. To hell with them and up with GTH trousers!
