Ink stains in white dress shirt

I had a gel ink stain on a white dress shirt, took it to the cleaners. They tagged it as a pre-treat thing and got it back and stain still there with some yellowing.

What should I do now? Only other option is to wear it when I know my coat will be closed the entire time (like church) or as a crap shirt when I have to go to court and no clients in the office

Make it a winter-time shirt.

I'm wearing an ink stained white Brooks OCBD right now. No one notices underneath a crew neck sweater...

Get a can of hair spray (the cheaper the better) and thoroughly saturate the stain at close range. The ink should dissolve on contact, but use a soft toothbrush if it's heavily set in the fabric. Then wash as usual.
Cheap hair spray and/or 90% rubbing alcohol. It'll get the stain out.

I just did this a couple of weeks ago on a solid cotton shirt. i don't know how it will work on a blend or other material. A cheap can of lighter fluid, paper towels, alcohol and hydrogen peroxide are needed.
This is for a set stain such as yours. Generously apply ligher fluid to the back side of the stain while it is laying on the paper towel. Fold the towel over the top and apply some fluid. Try to keep it wet while the fluid soaks in and loosens the stain. Once the stain starts seeping into the bottom paper towel begin to apply the alcohol. This will wash the ink through to the towel (or at least should). If this is white cotton and the stain is out there will still be a ghost of the stain so use a q-tip and swab the remnants of the stain with peroxide. Let it sit a few minutes and then wash as usual. This is not as time consuming as it sounds but good ventiliation will help avoid brain damage and no open flames in the area would be a mandatory point to verify.
If this is a blend fabric or colored you are on your own. The above could easily destroy the shirt. However I salvaged a very nice shirt by taking about ten minutes to tcob.
Good luck.
