With some discount codes, these are ringing up at $181, so I thought I would give them a try and ordered one heather and one charcoal gray. I am not asking about their quality, PQR, etc., but wonder how their sizing is. Is it true to size, slim, etc? Of course, I will find out myself in a couple of weeks, but any advance knowledge about be appreciated.

Their flat-front trousers are extremely slim in the thigh and leg. They create a sleek look for slim folks but will get pretty tight on those muscular or otherwise thick of leg.

You, however, bought pleated pants, with which I have less experience. Incotex explicitly designs these for the less slim and those wanting a more relaxed fit. The one pair I once tried on fit my waist but, in the seat and leg, seemed designed for someone much larger than me. This fit was closer to the roominess of most dress trousers sold in America.

Good luck.

Thanks for the insight. I am concerned now as my thews are rather large from years of hockey and cycling.

You'll be fine. As I said, the trousers in your link are pleated, which means they will have much more thigh room than the non-pleated ones. You bought the style that matches your build.

BTW, I also cycle and do fit into the non-pleated trousers, but they fit tighter. I like the tighter fit, which is more of an "Italian" than "American" fit and look. Incotex are my favorite trousers. I hope you like them.

Way

I just returned from a little spree at Barney's. Purchased several pairs of Incotex flat front trousers. I liked them and I differ from many out here in that I prefer long or low rises and generous thigh room. I had NO issues. The trousers do taper lower, but I had plenty of room proximally.

Well, it's been about 24 hours and no email confirmation yet. Maybe I have no need to worry about the fit?

Thanks for the sizing info guys. It was just a lark for me to order them. I just have heard/read so much about them here I thought I'd give a couple of pairs a shot for something different.

Incotex make many different cuts with varying degrees of slimness but you should be fine with those. The made in Portugal ones are the Formale line and not cut as trim as the cotton chinos. The ones sized in Euro (48, 50, 52...) are especially slim fitting. They are awesome pants and I love all of mine.

My experience is that the dress trousers are an inch to an inch and a half smaller than typical for other brands.
The trousers were delivered last night. The material is fantastic, the workmanship is great. The front closure is not quite what I am used to. It actually reminds me of CostCo fancy pants. But G-man was bang on with the sizing. I guess losing those 15 pounds I want to this year just got another bit of motivation!
