Long defunct London glove manufacturer? Any Brits out there able to shed some light on them? Not much on the internet.
Welch, Margetson & Co. seems to be a defunct tie-maker, last gasp circa 1963.
Allen Solly is still around, but they seem to have had a fashion make-over ala Abercrombie & Fitch. The original company kicked the bucket in the 70s, apparently.
Also note the early reference to Burberry's. Still part of the look?
