Good morning all, I trust everything is well and you are enjoying the summer (unless you are in the UK.... it is yet to start, sadly.
I just wanted to check in and keep you all updated with what we have been getting up to at Herring's. We have some new styles coming through at the moment and we are particularly excited by our new casual range. Yes, we have done casual styles before but we felt it needed to be fresher and quite frankly, a touch more trendy. We have not forgotten our roots of course and dress shoes will always be our forte, with new styles coming in still but we wanted to show that we can make a fantastic sneaker style shoe or boot. So far the Strike II in stone suede and the Boxer II are clear favourites, going by sales. Let us know what you think.
You may have also noticed we have ramped up our social media and general exposure, we are making this more of a priority, including our 'Look who's wearing' page and you may know our newest addition, the one and only Gui Bo. We flew him over for a few days and got some incredible shots, we even designed a couple of styles together so watch this space. For those of you that don't know, Gui has been wearing our shoes for many years and we have worked together for 3-4 years now but this was the first time we met up. We are lucky to be based in the beautiful Devon (Kingsbridge to be exact) and so we knew the scenery would blow Gui away, even more so we managed to put him up in the stunning Thurlestone golf and Country hotel where most of the shots were taken, we even used the hotel and beach for most of our hero shots for the new casual collection, we were so blown away with the scenery. If anyone plans to visit this neck of the woods then you will not be disappointed if you stayed there ( If you quote Herring you even get £50 off). For more on Gui's 'Look who's wearing', the article can be found here ( https://www.herringshoes.co.uk/Gui-Bo/wears/herring ).
As you can see, it has been a busy month. We have also just added a new brand to our site, 'Stemar'. Italian made, stylish and incredibly comfortable. We are impressed. Has anyone had any experiences with them at all?
Finally I must mention that our 20%off Herring Italian Loafer sale is due to end on the 30th, you have plenty of time but stocks are running down and to avoid disappointment you should get your order in early, if anyone requires any sizing help or advice let me know and I will guide you.
Thank you for your time, as always it is a pleasure to read through this forum and learn a few things myself.
Best,
Chris Clark ( Herring shoes )
