I have been searching for a month....does anyone make a new, OCBD green university stripe shirt....I can't seem to find one....:confused2:

I had an LL Bean one that I got maybe 5 years ago, maybe they run them in that color some seasons. They don't seem to have it now.
I saw a Green Uni OCBD Stafford at JC Penneys not too long ago. 60/40, but it was down to something like $12.00 at the time. No idea if it is still offered though.

Lands End made them. There was one at my local thrift a few days ago, but the collar had too much wear.

Sadly, apparently no more. I have one from them and I have two from Vineyard Vines (one OCBD, the other seersucker) but I've been looking since seeing this thread and they are apparently hard to come by this season!
Mercer would be my first suggestion as well. They don't show it as an option on their site currently but I know I saw the fabric there in the fall.
You might want to try Luxire as well. I don't see a green university stripe on their site but from what I've seen, they are very accommodating and seem to be able to source colors that aren't on their site pretty quickly and affordably.

A few years ago I thrifted an Abercrombie and Fitch green unistripe but it doesn't look like they offer one now. Actually wasn't bad, but was S,M,L,XL sized.
I bit on the above-mentioned Lands End today since it was basically my size minus an inch in the sleeves at 17 x 34. Its actually a pretty clean shirt after all. And i was surprised to find it still there.

One of my favorite shirts is a green uni-stripe oxford made by Troy (R&O Hawick fabric) for H Stockton of Atlanta back in the day. If I had to replace it, I'd most likely call to see if they have any available.
This is tempting. I have a gift card that would just about cover it. What color tie and jacket would one wear with it though?
If it was Roundtree & York (I am assuming), I almost mentioned it once, but figured the brand may not have stirred interest in this forum. Since this thread began, I have bought the LE version, and have come across the R&Y version a couple of times in thrifts. Did you buy? If so, what say you as to fit and quality?
You are correct. Unfortunately, though it is marked down they do not carry my gibbon-armed size. Ah well, Bean it is.
I ordered the LLB today. I paid $2 out of pocket after the gift card. I bought a wrinkle resistant short shirt a few weeks that's really nice. I doesn't have that plasticky feel.
