Fred Astaire vs Cary Grant

Hello all,
I was reading the sartorialist blog and he said that he "fell into the cliche that Cary Grant was the most dashing, elegant, stylish and well-dressed man of the Old Hollywood generation", and after watching a bunch of Fred Astaire movies he felt that Fred Astaire is the most stylish and well-dressed man in old Hollywood. After reading this I thought I would ask you gentleman who do you think is the stylish and well-dressed man of the Old Hollywood generation?

The men had two different styles, Astaire was a bit looser and more flamboyant (particularly with color), while Grant never had a hair out of place. Astaire could never wear the pinstripe double breasted Kilgour like Grant, but Grant would have not looked so perfect in the soft almost rumpled coats of Anderson and Sheppard.

Since neither man tried to follow the other's lead maybe just call it a tie and appreciate the nuances of both.

Ditto, Astaire was blue blazer and grey flannels, Grant was worsted wool suits
