What color? Brown?

Yep. I wear a tan shirt with a charcoal suit on occasion- looks quite neat IMO. I wear black shoes as the pants are charcoal so with khaki pants go with a brown shoe.

First, let me congratulate you for having the cojones to admit wearing a black jacket on this forum; were I to wear such a combination, I would probably go with, in decending order of preference: tan, burgunday or black loafers.

 

all the above is swell to wear. brown, burgundy , or black.

i would personally go with a dark brown or medium brown.
