Best stripe design ever?

Okay, okay--I'm fully aware there isn't just one. Too many good ones from which to choose.

Still, I think the Highgate School design would be a front runner. Almost certainly the most versatile necktie in my closet. I like the Robert Talbott version fine, but own variations (offered by other makers including Brooks and PoloRL) and like them equally well. Beyond Robert Talbott, not an easy tie to find.

Personally I like BB#1 in burgundy and gold. Thats how boring I am.

Does anyone know how wide the Robert Talbott Collegiate Ties are?

Like a point made in an earlier post above, the choice Harris makes does strongly suggest BB#2, which I have been looking for for sometime (eventually bought some similar Press);only in the past few weeks have the #2s been online for BB in a few colors, (also not been in my local BB store).

I am not familiar with the Robert Talbott Collegiate Ties. Where are they sold?
Sorry, they were at Hansen's Clothing which Harris linked to in the OP.

Stripes Argyle Sutherland Highlander

I like the Argyle Sutherland Highlander as well.
As Literide explained, a lot of history in this unit, a lot!
Should read about them my friends.
Also, great piping marching band. Was fortunate to watch them do Scotland the Brave some years back, in Europe!
God, that was beautiful

Nice day my friend

I rather like the stripe of my Old School--see my avatar!
Glad you still like it! Now if only Harris and Zot were paying attention...

Anyway, here are a few more tile-able versions of misc. repp stripes.

Amp tile viewer is the simplest program I've found for previewing image tiles on Windows.

And if the amp tile viewer doesn't afford you the types of edits you need, NewView Graphics File Viewer might.

On the Macintosh, the best way I've found to view a lot of tiled images is by using the slide show feature in GraphicConverter.

As usual, I'm happy to edit these for you if you like a pattern but need different colors or whatever.

Stripes in Britain

Gentlemen,

We discussed this in detail. When this site first developed. And have on many occasions.
I think it is fine. I am retired military. Have served with the British in my past as a US Army soldier.
I know the pride the British take in their outfits. And would be pleased if their colors were shown!
I have recommend reading on all of these units. The history itself is a joyride into military history.
Have worked with them in my past, I respect them immensely.
Till this date, have done just that.
Again, like the Argyle Sutherland Highlander, or Black Watch, or the Royal Marines and so forth.
A lot of beautiful colors my friends. A lot of history.
Even here I see people wearing various sweatshirts etc. I have no qualms. As an individual who has served. I know what I have done, and take immense pride in this. I really have no problems with people wearing insignia, or colors.
Actually, like it that people from all over attended DUKE!!!
