I believe the reason for what Alex noted is that it takes some adjustment to get a high armhole right - at least on the first try. Most MTM programs don't offer anything more than a forward fitting so that sort of adjustment can't really be made.

 

The salesman at RL told me their Purple Label MTM measures armhole height. Just what the parameters are, I can't tell you as I went bespoke instead.

 

While how to categorize what Mr. Ned does is a frequent topic of discussion (i.e. whether M2M is fair, given that you get several intermediate fittings), his process does allow for, and successfully completes, high arm holes.
