My ex- had typical American female tastes - her idea of "well dressed" was grey SB suit, white shirt, dark red tie, plain black shoes. She liked almost none of my DB pinstriped suits, wingtips, coloured shirts, Lanvin ties. That's not why we divorced (though surely that would have been reasonable grounds
