Whenever I wear a wing collar, my bow tie tends to "fall down". Here are a couple examples of what I mean:

I've tried with both a pre-tied and self-tie bow tie, so that's not the problem, however, it is unfortunately an attached collar shirt, so I have a feeling that could be the problem. My only other idea is that perhaps the tie is too loose, but I've tied it about as tightly as possible, and it still happens.

Any ideas?

I don't see a lot wrong with your examples ....

although the bows in the examples are tilted somewhat. Purists will say you must always use a self-tie with a wing color because you can see where the neck adjustment is to the back. I prefer to wear a turn down collar when wearing a tuxedo, although I do wear a wing collar from time to time. Wearing the wing over the bow is the most common error which occurs.
