I know for me it is about anonymity. I am candid in my discussions, mainly other forums, but here also, and I don't want to have to worry about my political views finding their way back to those I work with, or my responses to some of the silly threads at other forums. Personal choice. I assume some of you guys are interested in seeing pics of my clothes and not of my face..

Yes, but after reading that certain members were recognized -- by screen name -- by clerks at Brook Brothers, and so on, I don't really care for someone showing up one day and saying "hey, didn't I just see your shoe collection on that Andy forum?"
