How many white dress shirts do you currently own that are in your current wardrobe? (current meaning something you would still wear that isn't faded, stained yellow, or damaged)

I just ordered four new shirts from Geneva in NY,

all with spread collars w/ french cuffs, no front pocket

two white

Alumo's Salvatore Triplo 3x3 160s for the first and
Thomas Mason's Byron-Kent model white (# F333268 1) for the second

The other two were stripes

this was the one of the two:

Alumo SupraLuxe 2x2 120s

the other was Alumo 44089/25 Sea Island 2x2 140s (thin blue/white/brown stripe

A little more than a dozen - 15 or 16.

8 or 9. White shirts are to shirts as black shoes are to shoes - for me anyway. A necessary evil. I would say 85% of my shirts are something other than white. In fact, I have as many shirts in variations of purple as I do of white,
But do you wear them as often?

The black shoe analogy may be relevant for some. While some individuals may own far more shirts or shoes in other colors, they tend to wear white shirts and black shoes far more frequently, particularly in a business setting.
Four: one French cuffed, one point collar, and two OCBDs. I usually wear the OCBDs to dress down a suit, or with a blazer or sportcoat if I run out of blue, pink and striped OCBDs.
2-OCBD Barrel Cuff
1-Point French Cuff
1-Tab French Cuff
1-Spread French Cuff
1-Varsity Spread French Cuff
1-Formal Pleated Wingtip French Cuff
1-Formal Pleated Turndown French Cuff
I have 3.

2 x CT

1 Ede and Ravenscroft.

I'm hoping for another Ede from Santa.
I have two or three white shirts, but it has probably been a year or more since I have worn one. If I wear a solid colored shirt, I am most likely to wear blue, although I do have pink, yellow, and ecru in solids and a lot of stripes, checks, and tattersalls.
I only have two... one Nakhle (wonderful) and one B&K (crap). I only wear them when an occasion requires it. Everything else is striped or coloured or both.
Lordy!

A whole bunch of formals, and about five or six for sootntie. Love the BB non-wrinkle medium point barrels.

Tell me, though, how can one tell if one's white shirt is "faded"?

I have over 200 shirts. Ascot Chang's marketing has said that a good shirt should last through 50 washings. As I don't buy cheap shirts, I've got a twenty-five year supply, easily.

But every two years I order three white Brooks Brothers shirts to replace the last set that are worn out.
