Good Evening Andy

Well after a long search I finally found my vintage white dinner jacket. A great shawl lapel single breasted, in a cream light weight wool. I'm a little confused about colour options to go with it. Is a red bowtie and cummerbund OK or should I stick with black? I have to say that as an owner of four dinner jackets ranging from the 1940's to the 1960's, plus a set of tails, I love wearing these damn things.
We still seem to be stuck in an era where a large percentage of men still haven't learned that you can be comfortable and elegant at the same time. When I wear a dinner jacket and black tie not only do I feel great, I get great looks from women too. If there is anyone out there toying with the idea of buying a tux, don't hesitate. And don't throw it to the back of a closet thinking it's only for special occasions. Wear it, flaunt it, enjoy it, you'll feel like a million bucks. But, but, but.... please, try and stay away from the baby-blue ones with the frilly shirts. Ciao.
