I actually agree with @Troones that the canvas shoes actually look good as well- the blue goes well with the khaki pants of course. But you can't go wrong with the loafers either.
Which shoes?
I'm going out on a date later, nothing fancy. I'm wearing some tan chinos and a short sleeve button down shirt. Can I get away with wearing canvas shoes or should I stick with my loafers? The chinos aren't necessarily on the casual side, so I'm not sure if I can pull off the canvas shoes.
