I'm getting a custom made shirt with a pattern (blue grid (approximate size: 1 cm X 1 cm) on white background). I can pick the button color. Which color would you recommend?

The suggested choices are white or "mother of pearl". Which do you think looks better?

Or should I go with another button color?

In general, which button colors do you prefer? Colors that contrast with the shirt or colors that blend in?

I just ordered a custom shirt from Epaulet (made by Individualized) and went with MOP buttons. I'm really looking forward to it.

White MOP is the standard for a quality shirt. It should be real MOP or some other kind of shell, not plastic. I’ve seen smoke and blue MOP used to good effect on certain shirts, but white MOP is always a great choice.
