Hello I am new to this forum, so I hope I am not repeating any previous threads.

Does anyone know where I can buy good quality ideally semi-brogue chelsea/dealer boots (would consider full brogue) in brown/tan etc

I am looking for good quality with leather soles and would love to get them in a sale obviously etc.

I know that RM Williams, Trickers etc have good boots (I have some on order as we speak) but I am struggling to find decent semi or full brogue ones. Any help, advice etc would be great.
Thanks in advance.

There is also a waxed dealer boot with a rubber sole in the Shipton and Heneage clearance sale section.

Also available, but not made in England (important to me but may not be to you):

Hope this helps,

Chris.

Chris,

Yes it does help. I did look at this site the other day, however, my real preference is for a semi-brogue and the only one there is the Sanders Carnaby in black - I want a lightish brown or tan. In addition not sure how good the Sanders boots are !

I read a post the other day from someone working in one of the Northamption factories and they stated (in order of quality)

Edward Green/John Lobb - Top Grade
Crokett & Jones/Trickers/Church's/Cheaney - Mid Grade
Loake/Grenson/Sanders - Lower Grade

I have just ordered RM Williams Craftsman in Chestnut Kangaroo & Trickers Lambourn in Black, so would like to keep to the similar standard. I have had Loakes etc in the past and they do not last.

Anybody got any more ideas for me please !

I have another suggestion - its a Church's boot called "Meddon" - it is made in black, brown, tabacco, and walnut. It is a semi-brogue chelsea boot. It is made on their modern looking 108 last which fits a bit slimmer than their normal range. It comes with a choice of either rubber or leather soles.

Soleys ( see above) sell it on rubber sole but will order anything for you - or you could contact Herrings or Church's factory shop - might even have one in a second for you - had my size in brown last year as a second. Factory shop sells perfects too of course.

Thanks for the idea, not sure it is a semi-brogue ?, I was thinking of a semi-brogue having no punch holes on the toe, maybe I am wrong, however I would prefer that there was not any.

I was considering the BB Peel & CO (C & J - I believe) boot in their clearance sale but my size was sold last week !, should have moved quicker, that is suede and leather, and is the style (semi-brogue) I am after.

Thanks anyway - any other suggestions ? please
