I've heard conflicting reports. On one hand, I've read that quality dry cleaning won't harm your shirts the way a terribly hot press will after laundering. On the other hand, I've read that you should never get your shirt dry cleaned; the chemicals are simply too harsh.

If the only problem with laundering is the hot press, why not have your shirts hand pressed? Other than the fact that hand pressing at my cleaners brings the total per-shirt cost to $5.00, is this the best way to treat your shirts?

What say you?
