What is the quality level of Paul Frederick clothing, especially neckties?

What is the quality level of Paul Frederick clothing, especially neckties?
Plenty good enough for most people, I'd say. They once had some club collar dress shirts with French cuffs and no pockets I rather liked. The current dress shirts may be fine although it looks like they all have pockets. This might make them a bit proletarian for actual dress shirts. I suppose one could conceal them with a vest. I have a couple of their ties and again, I'd say they're good enough for most. Better than some Brooks Brothers ties I've gotten lately...

I have watched the overall quality of PF diminish significantly over the last few years. Once upon a time one could procure USA and Italian neckties for a bargain. The 7-fold Italy made ties were particularly good quality and I still have several in rotation. Sadly, all their ties seem to be made in China now and are not as good as previous.
PF used to have some trousers made by Zanella I believe and were very nice for the money and now those have also gone by the wayside.
Also, some of their suitings were half canvassed and decent quality but now are long gone...
Nevertheless, as stated above, PF are still a cut above your average department store offerings and when on sale seem to be a good value.
