Correct - it was predicted to be rainy last night, and I didn't need a wet tie to add to my collection. What happened to your tie? You don't wear them on casual nights?

The pocket square is to close to the vest in color, which is to be avoided for the same reasons you don't want a matching tie and pocket square.Manitoba Tartan vest
Light blue shirt to pick up vest's light blue line
Green wool tie to pick up vest's texture and dark green line
Square to pick up the greens, reds, and blue.
Navy suit

You need to look into proper shoelace tying technique, this is wrong and looks terrible.Going for a low contrast look.
Bill Blass brown & black check with wine and teal lines camel hair jacket.
Tan shirt close to the jacket's brown to minimize contrast.
Wine wool and silk tie for texture to approach jacket's.
Wine and blue square to reference tie and wine and teal stripes in jacket.
Brown wool slacks, braces, socks, and shoes.
Brown hat, scarf, gloves.
Tan coat.
Black overshoes.
Not a fan of this shirt collar on me.

Did you ever identify the inspiration for the positioning of the hands? The seas' green, the forests' brown, the mountains' grey, and my yard's dandilions' yelllow. A button down collar and cuffed trousers for the informality and ruggedness of a walk in nature.
I'm calling this my "Back to Nature" ensemble.

I know its inspiration. So far, nobody's guessed it. Standing stiff looks, stiff. So I chose the only fun one that came to mind. Although, mine looks stiff compared to the original. The original source goes back awhile.Did you ever identify the inspiration for the positioning of the hands?
The weather in NYC is sunny and cool, with highs just above 50F/10C - a perfect day for a suited stroll. In honor of the weather, I took a field trip to the Jewish Museum, to see their exhibit on the Sassoon family, then walked my way back homewards (approximately three miles).
Cycling through my closet, I found that which must be among my dullest suits, and have paired it with one of my most patterned dress shirts, with a funky set of braces to fill out the mix. Not the most exciting of suited combos I've ever concocted, but one cannot live one's life at a fever pitch all the time, no?

I am so sorry. I never meant you to feel bad.Being Canadian, now I feel bad.
It's my homage to the initial catalog pose in Eddie Murphy's first Tonight Show appearance.
Modified to show more of the clothes at the expense of appearing more dynamic.
No need at all to feel sorry. That's our natural feeling up here after we've been mischievousI am so sorry. I never meant you to feel bad.
