There is a trend that still looks rather inappropriate when I see it, but may be perfectly accepable.
Some time ago, golfers started wearing western style belts on the tour ( rather large buckle, and pointed metal tip ). Looks fine on Tiger et al on the tour, IMO.
About a year ago these started appearing on men with suits. I'm sure that the President always wears one. I was reminded of the trend again when I saw a NY Times article on Senator Kerry, today. He was in a picture with his suit jacket off and had a similar belt.
The belt seems to be perfect for jeans, golf wear, etc. But suits? Just wondered. Best regards, Bill
