I'll get married in Italy in Tuscany towards the end of May. Temperature should be between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius (65-75F). The wedding will happen during the day and it will be in the countryside. I'll like to have a bespoke suit made for me and I'm open to feedback. I was thinking of maybe a brown suit in tropical wool.

Brown is good for Groom. But, I think not for Bridal.

If you are getting a bespoke suit, it will ultimately be a decision you come to in conversation with the tailor. It’s good to have an idea in mind, but any bespoke tailor worth their salt will have their own input, and part of going to that tailor is getting that input and expertise.

I can't get behind the idea of the groom in a brown or taupe, or any other unusual colored suit. I'd stick with something more traditional: black, gray, or navy options. If not one of those, the farthest I'd go is a blue just slightly lighter than navy. Even though it's your wedding, it's about her, not you. Not the time for out-of-the box thinking. Get back in the box!

Congrats! A wedding in Tuscany sounds incredible! I think a brown tropical wool suit is a solid choice—perfect for the warm weather and the countryside vibe. Maybe go for a medium or lighter brown for a softer feel. Pair it with a white or light blue shirt, and a nice tie or pocket square to add some personality. The key is getting a great fit. You’re going to look awesome—enjoy your big day!

Natural Linen!? It will wrinkle like crazy!
We all love linen in May… but not for your wedding!
Every time you look at your wedding photos (over the rest of your long, well-dressed life, we hope!) you will wonder why on earth you chose natural linen!
Do this when you’re choosing fabrics - crunch a corner of the fabric end up tightly in your hand for 2 seconds and then let go and see if the fabric stays wrinkled or if it snaps back smooth. Choose a fabric that stays nice. When you get out of the car, when you stand up from your chair you’ll be glad you’re not a mass of wrinkles.
