I know that usually people wear their watch on their left hand, and I usually wear mine on my left hand too. However, because I'm left handed, if I'm ever in a situation where I have to write with a pen, the watch gets in the way (it makes a lot of noise as it bangs against the desk). Anyway, when I am writing or in a situation where I might have to write, I switch my watch to my right hand. Is there some strict prohibition from wearing your watch on your right hand, or did the practice of wearing it on the left hand evolve because most people are right-handed and it's perfectly acceptable for a left-handed person to wear their watch on their right hand?
