Does anyone here think it would be gauche to wear an entire outfit from the same label? A designer like Gucci, for example, makes suits, shirts, shoes and belts. You could become a walking, unpaid pitchman for the company.
I used to be tempted to do that with a label I really liked. But now, I notice different companies do certain things better. Brioni makes a great suit, but I have never liked their shirts' collars, which are either too wide or too narrow. Zegna makes great shirts and suits, but their ties are uninspiring.
What are some of your favorite combinations?
