Please forgive me in advance if this is an obvious question, but this is something I hadn't noticed before frequenting this forum...
In London today, I noticed that perhaps one in 30 men wearing suits on the street had any buttons fastened. (they weren't seated, but walking about) This is not during the heat of midday, but at 8-9am, and these aren't business casual looks... these people were wearing ties and regular suits.
So, is it now the done thing to run around with your suit jacket open? This seems sort of odd, considering that it wasn't yet hot outside.
