1. Where we live you can buy Ralph's stuff like polo shirts, chinos, dress shirts at Macy's. You can also drive 25 miles away to a disount village and buy EXACTLY the same items for 20% less. Is the demand so strong that Macy's, Lord & Taylor, et al have to carry the line and compete with him at the same time?

2. Will the same thing happen to Ralph that happened to Hilfinger? About five years ago, you saw Hilfinger at the yacht club, and in police line ups. Then it disappeared from the yacht club, and the police line up moved on to FUBU. Now the only thing thing that I see about Tommy is in the financial pages where they are announcing decreasing earnings.

Except for Ralph's top of the line suits and jackets that many of you have referred to, the commodity products that he sells look like a race to the bottom. Poorly made stuff made in places where you can't drink the water.

Ralph is obviously a marketing genius, but I'd be interested in the opinions of you that are good at following trends like this.

Beautiful day in the East, hope yours is the same! Bill
