I wear heavier chinos, moleskin, cotton gabardine and flannel trousers with my corduroy jackets. I like the suggestion above for canvas.
Trouser fabric with Corduroy jacket?
Corduroy trousers are worn with rugged tweed jackets. Would rugged tweed trousers be worn with corduroy jackets? Jeans seem a very common trouser with corduroy jackets. But what trouser fabric if one doesn't wish to dress down the jacket?
