I was interested in feed back on the Trickers factory shoes and boots which are for sale from Trickers (factory) on ebay - I am sure that there have been posts before for these but I wanted to start a fresh!.

I own a pair of Trickers Lambourn boots (SUPERB by the way), which I parted with £225 sterling for the pleasure (ebay via Trickers direct are offering them at a starting bid of £100 and they do not say they are seconds !

This seems to be one of the deals of the year - or am I missing something !

No, you are not missing anything.

Apart from the option to purchase, if you don't bid/buy.
They are always as described, ie new.

The description also applies to sizing, so if they are going to be delivered to you, try to make sure you get the size right.

I have bought a few pairs from the shop and need to post again about recent happy purchases, but have been delayed by external aggro, will catch up soon.

Trickers were at the forefront of online retailing by establishing a presence on Ebay, way in front of the other great Northampton shoemakers, you still also have the option to visit the factory shop, it is a great experience.

Second, how and when can I visit the factory shop ?

Is the factory shop the same price as ebay ? but with a larger selection.

I think Trickers are one of the best shoes you will ever wear so please let me know about the above as I am a fan and will visit the shop.

You ended your first enquiry with "am I missing something ?"
I was suggesting you would 'miss out' by not buying.

The shop has some items that are not on the Ebay listing, if there is something you like on the listings you can collect from the shop after you bid/buy or you can visit the shop and create a day out.

Trains run frequently from Euston to Northampton every day, or if you are driving, there is further info available by inputing "Trickers" into the forum search facility, sorry I cant provide the specific thread links at the moment, I am trying to get my rear out of the door to start a long weekend and escape London.

I was hoping to forget about the Trickers ebay store. I missed out on a pair of cordovan Hermann cap toe boots and I'm still kicking myself over it. If you like those take the plunge!
