I inherited a collection of 150 Trafalgar braces and many of them are vintage. I saw an old article about a collector’s society, but it appears that it no longer exists. What is my best avenue to sell these?

You could try eBay. You may also want to decide on what you want for these braces, as a collection, or individually. I believe doing a bit of research can help. One way to find out about their market value is to see what similar braces sold for on eBay. Good luck!

Not to dissuade Blue Devil's efforts to sell his suspender collection, but exercise caution, my friends. Depending onhow they were stored, those vintage braces could be in decidedly sad condition! I am reminded of that old adage..."Let the buyer beware." ;)

The collection is in top condition. There are probably 1-2 out of the entire lot that are not- frayed just a little. My brother was a clothing salesman and he took great care of his clothes and accessories.

I am more than happy to take photos of the majority of them to prove it. I would be interested to know what your interest would be and what you might want be willing to offer.

I'm interested!

Cheers

That's a good point, but I am assuming that Blue Devil, as a member of this lovely group of people, will be kind enough to examine the condition of these braces, provide some pictures to potential buyers, and answer any questions any of us may have.

As a collector of books and stamps, there are three things I watch out for, when it comes to items I am thinking of buying, selling, or appraising: Condition, condition and condition!
