Presuming Trad is a uniform rather than a style? Getting dressed with a checklist, perhaps?

I would say it's a style with certain foundational elements....two of those being sack jackets and OCBD shirts. Sorry to nitpick, but to start a new thread featuring Trad outfit photos, and then offer up an "inaugural" photo that is conspicuously lacking either of those elements, doesn't make sense to me.

I guess I would ask you, what makes that photo Trad?

Well, not being Trad, myself, I would say it must be an error. I failed to realize the structure of the style.

The collar tips of the shirt are obscured so who knows if it’s button down or not? Either way I wouldn’t sneer at a straight collar but then again I don’t dress prescriptively.

I like the coat, the shirt, and the pocket square. I am not convinced the sweater agrees with the tie but I am perhaps not daring enough with my color mixing and matching.
