Would you agree that for a wardrobe to be in keeping with true US Trad, no suit should cost more than $900 and no shirt should have anything other than a buttondown collar while no tie costs over $60 and no shoes cost over $500? I'm thinking Preppy Handbook style Trad here. It seems to me that the Trad described in Flusser's Clothes and the Man is distinctly different from the JPress-only New England Trad. The Press Trads seem to miss out on the finer aspects of men's clothing -- I much prefer the Flusser Trad.
