I let out Dad's blazer shortly after his passing and was not in a good place or thinking clearly. Now when I go to finish the hem (in a hurry to be done before the service) I see how the back seam isn't flowing as it should. Fix that and get it the first time, though the blazer tells me wants the collar dropped. I never have touched the collar so was intimidated, though an opportunity to learn. I guessed 1cm and by golly really close, though a very slight bubble across the top of the shoulder.

Would you accept this or want it even more smooth? This is an OTR blazer so there are fit issues that can't be corrected, like sleeve pitch so not looking for bespoke fit. I tend to over think and over work things, so I appreciate the feedback.

If I had the skill, the supplies and equipment, and the time, I might tweak it. As I lack the skill, I would be ok with wearing it as it is.

This morning realized not taking the learning opportunity, basting is already removed. Thank you for the help, it is appreciated.

As for skill, supplies, and equipment, they can be acquired, trouble is time can't be acquired so we have to be selective in the former acquisitions. I decided to acquire the equipment supplies, and teach myself the skills to at least do alterations.
