I'm trying to find some ties that compliment a pink pencil striped shirt w/forward points. I found one I like, it is from RL. The repp like tie alternates between 1.5 inch dark green with .25 inch fusia stripes.

I always struggle with migrainous patterns.

Thoughts?

Yes, I have gotten that very remark, i.e. a "migrainy" combo with the striped shirt and tie. It all depends on the elements of both. BB Paisley ties with striped shirts in well-matching colors do it for me, provided solid jacket and trousers.

Navy with pink dots or solid Burgundy are my recommendations, depending on suit color.

Both combos are boring, but sharp!

As a new member I should seek the thread on this but I thought it was 'un-trad' to wear stripes with stripes?
