Tie Bar is hit or miss. I would say 2/3 are absolutely great, the other 1/3 very disappointing (thin, cheesy, poor knot). But at their prices, it's worth ordering in bulk and sending back the rejects for a small restocking fee. Their best are well made and tie nicely with a good dimple. Shy away from the skinny ties, they cannot form a dimple. The standard 3/12 inch are very nice, as are their woolen and fuzzy cotton tartans. Colors vary from on screen so expect some klunkers. But where else can you get $15 ties, except on the exchange or from Drlivingston.

This is spot on. It's hit or miss. I have a couple I absolutely love and a couple that are just ok at best. I went with one of their 2.5" ties recently, and there was no way to tie a decent knot. I own a couple other 2.5" ties and it just seems the tie bar tie slims too quickly, so the width of the tie at the knot is at least 1/3" slimmer than any of my other slim ties. The fabric quality and color was great though, which makes it really disappointing. Their pocket squares and tie bars are great value and I have had no complaints and have recieved plenty of compliments.
