I have had many pairs of different style AE shoes. They are from the original company. Any I have tried from the new company I have not kept, just not been happy with fit, leather, etc. while I have sold a few pairs on eBay and given others to charity I still have I still have quite a few pairs left. While their narrows (B width) were ok in a few pair I did have to doctor others up with tongue pads, etc. Alden shoes were good for me in the Aberdeen last but now I need more toe room. I wear mostly casual shoes these days with chinos and jeans but still have the occasional need for my Park Avenue, Dryden, Bradley styles. I wonder if others have any thoughts on the current state of Allen Edmonds old vs. new company?

You got it.
I just hope that these 14Bs don't crush your feet when we're dancing that close. View attachment 35534
Nice.
The ostrich chelseas? And the little pimply things, feather spots? Have a pair of AE sharks (lace-ups) that resemble Michelins, very rough, tough. I like them, but your ostriches are liked more, more genteel, probably because unlike mine they didn't begin life swimming for blood.

Shark is great. I would like to have a pair of sharkskin boots some day.
