Howard- I think the second outfit IS a dress. The second outfit looks like a dress.
As do I. The BB Black Fleece line - on sale (which was a serious reduction in price) - was great value and the fit - while slim - was not the exaggerated stuff shown on the runway or fashion books or wherever. Those are highly stylized. If you take the time to browse a full selection of offerings, you'll find much that is normal.
I have quite a few pieces from the now defunct BB Black Fleece line, including 2 suits, which fit quite well.
I liked the Black Fleece line as well. Though at retail, it was overpriced, on sale, I thought it represented great value. As do I. I have several BBBF cashmere sweaters which are the nicest of their type that I own (with great details like working buttons on the cuffs so you can roll them up without stretching the cuffs out). I also own several BBBF dress shirts which are all impressively made (tight weave, MOP buttons, serious stitching) - you can feel the quality.
I wasn't crushed, but was disappointed when that line went away. I often wonder if his advertising / exaggerated runway shows didn't cut both ways as it got him a lot of press, but also turned many potential customers off as I worked with several guys who wouldn't even look at his stuff at BB because of those ads, but I know they would have bought it had they tried it.
I did browse. At least at that store (Barney's Bergdorf?) it all looked like so much infantile rubbish to me. I know he's done finely crafted pieces in the past, and he's certainly a trendsetter. But he's tossed his cap on this attire. Those are highly stylized. If you take the time to browse a full selection of offerings, you'll find much that is normal.

And to think it wasn't that long ago that NO man with the slightest bit of self respect would ever walk out of the house wearing a suit that tight unless he was going to a Pee Wee costume theme party. Many kids nowadays think his clothes are baggy. Not even this guy's suits are that bad:
