Hello. I know nothing about fashion and I need help finding out anything about this jacket (preferably material and or "style" of jacket. And I would love to see the exact thing of course). This jacket is worn by Charlie Heaton and I have looked into a lot of articles on his casual fashion style but can't find any definite answers on what he's wearing. To me, that looks like a type of harrigton jacket. Here's a version by Dunhill that looks pretty close. You can find these at all price ranges from several different makers.

London Fog used to put out a version of the Harrington Jacket design that was very reasonably priced. I have a 20 year old version that is still very wearable. Over the years I also picked up a couple Baracuta branded Harrington designs (the originals) in navy and in khaki hues and have been very pleased with them, although they are painfully pricey these days!

On the Baracuta website there are a lot of jackets at half price - some as low as 180 dollars - so close to budget.

Orvis has a similar jacket to this. Less than a Harrington.

On a side note, I believe the nadir of the style was the 1980’s with the advent of the “Members Only” jacket.
