First, it feels great to wear it. Makes me feel like a captain! But on the other hand the material doesn't look as good as in the picture and is not as thick as I thought. Remember I bought it so that I don't have to wear a parka when temperature is close to or below freezing.
As I said I'm not really satisfied with the Schott. Bloomingdale has this one from Burberry on sale for $760. Looks better, at least in the picture. Do you think it's worth it?
You are overly concerned with the top button being pulled all the way to the left in the picture above this post. How does the coat feel on you, when wearing a heavy sweater under the coat? :icon_scratch:
It's snug but comfortable. It was comfortable driving to work in it. HOWEVER it's not that warm (compared to a parka for example) even though it's made of 32 z wool and (something that seems to be the case with all peacoats) it exposes so much of my chest to the elements.
