I was reading on the "Tips on caring for your clothes" thread of this forum () this recommendation:
8. Have your shoe man put a very thin rubber piece on the new soles -- and they'll last much longer. (Nobody has to know.)
I am thinking about having put these very thin pieces on the soles of my newly bought leather shoes. Any opinion/recommendation on this question? Many thanks.
