Readers of this forum may be interested to learn of the forthcoming (10th April) 'Tweed Run', an attempt to raise funds for a charitable purpose and described by its organisers as 'a leisurely jaunt through the Empire's capital, taking in some of our finest landmarks, and stopping off for a quintessentially British tea break in the park'. Fourteen miles long, the route will weave past Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and St Paul's Cathedral. Participants are required to wear tweed.
