I am reminded of one of my favourite of Oscar Wilde's minor characters, in The Picture of Dorian Gray, being the gentleman at dinner in the third chapter, who had decided that he had said everything he ever wished to say before the age of thirty.

I have a feeling that is exactly the position which I will take, one day.
