Im def still going to read it. Some of the titles are certainly intriguing:

Uniforms and the Creation of Ideal Masculinity, Elizabeth Hackspiel-Mikosch
The Italian Job: Football, Fashion and That Sarong, Stella Bruzzi
Clothes and the Modern Man in 1930s Oxford, Laura Ugolini
Modern Masculinity and the Rise of School Uniforms, Jennifer Craik

Agreed, while the titles (some of them) look interesting, a lot of these books can be more academic than desired, with interesting information getting bogged down in a sea of philosophical jargon and definition structures. I'll wait to see some reviews.
